LAOS OUTREACH MINISTRY
Laos Outreach Ministry (LOM) serves impoverished people in the northern mountains of Laos. Laos is one of the world's few remaining communist states and one of East Asia's poorest. Most Laotians grow just enough rice to survive and the country depends heavily on foreign aid. The work of LOM is critical because the government depends on organizations like them to improve the lives of people. We love LOM because of the way their staff and volunteers respond quickly and sacrificially to bring relief and development in times of crisis. Right now they are providing care packages to families in desparate need because of Covid-19. They also have a unique program to create jobs for people using the super-food called Sacha Inchi.
